Hello, I owned a Phase 1 Olympic in the early 1970s. Reg was AMH10A. I sold it to a Paul Narramore. Any ideas on what happened to it (Riley 1.5 running gear, Spayed Green). I then bought a decayed one with BMC 1.5 engine in the late 1980s. It was NDB279G and I part restored it before selling it in early 90s. It had been on private plate 90FHO. Again, anyone know where it is now?! I still have the odd owners club mags from early 90s and a "Motor" magazine reprinted road test of the Ph1. from 1961.

hello all, I would like to imform you that have sadly recently inherited a Rochdale Olympic phase 2 from my father.Although ,always on the road i feel that it is now in need of a lot of TLC both inside and out.The car originally purchased in 1963 registered 1965 has always been quite unique and i believe unknown to the ROC. I am hoping to be accepted as a member of the ROC in the very near future. I find it truly wonderful that such a club & so many enthusiasts are keeping the Rochdale`s unique design and history alive. Its a wonderful website .. Keep up the good work My Regards Robin J

Hi,good site just found you. I used to own ESU816 which i believe is now in Australia,i did receive a letter from the owner asking for info/etc but it took 2 years to catch up with me, having left the UK for NZ and moved several times here.Tried the E mail address given but no reply! Loved the car and only sold because the local council pulled my garage down to build flats. Found some bits when unpacking in NZ,trim, wheel cylinders/etc but binned them when no reply to E,sorry! Only got photos now. Regards Peter C

Hi All, bought an Olympic back in '65 for £30.00 lol. Drove it for a year bur was insured with Fire Auto Marine.... well who else would insure a teenage just pasted thier test. No wonder they went bust. The previuos owner and builder was a local shoe shop owner by the name of Bagget, he used to race the car at the local circuits Llandow being one. So it got laid up for 40 odd years now I am old and reduntant it is time for a restoratin project to keep me off the streets. Any info would be appreciated Reg No was/is RTG590 Martin

In 1982 I helped the late Richard Parker produce a new shell from the phase 2 mould at his factory in Stanton. The mould preparation took a long time because of the poor condition following use by various club members. Richard put a false floor in the mould to lower the body line. The shell was self coloured green. I have pictures. I assisted Richard in order to learn how to produce a shell with a view to moulding one for myself, but work got in the way and it never happened. Does anyone know whether Richard ever completed this car?
