Rochdale Olympic Phase 2 1972


Toyota 1600 OHV engine (2TB) and 5-speed gearbox (T50).
Usual Spitfire-based front suspension and steering with anti-roll bar, but with custom bolted-in front subframe and poly bushes all round.
Brembo discs and Greenstuff pads.
Escort Mk2 back axle with 3.62 diff. all in A1 condition.
Custom rear anti-roll bar.
Adjustable AVO coil-overs all round.
Ford alloy wheels with 165/70 x 14 tyres.
Steel fuel tank and inboard spare wheel.
Body finished in red cellulose and still looking good after 6+ years.
Interior complete but unfinished - no carpet etc. and headlining is tatty; tilt/recline Recaro style seats; Toyota Celica instruments fitted to look more "classic"; removable radio/cassette.
This car goes and stops well, has been to the Le Mans Classic twice with no trouble and I see no reason for it not to do so for years to come. Is (duty-free) taxed and tested to August. Selling due to imminent arrival of next project, so I need the space (and the cash).
Car is insured for £5000, so haggling starts at £4999.99.
