ROC AGM picture: Coventry air museum

This years AGM been arranged for the 2nd April 2023 at our normal venue.
As with previous years admission to Owners club members is free, simply take the latest copy of the club magazine with you and show it to the admission staff on arrival. The AGM is due to start at 1pm, please aim to arrive at the venue from 10.30am, there will be a free buffet lunch prior to the AGM which will be served about mid day. If you come in a Rochdale you will be able to park it along side one of the exhibits, this will be arranged on the day when everyone has turned up. As normal we will be giving a prize to the Rochdale car we think best suits the ethos of the club, it may be the best turned out example however we do take other things into account such as distance travelled etc. If you have an agenda item you would like to be discussed at the AGM please email our secretary using secretary@rochdale-owners-club.co.uk. and we will add it to the business of the day. Postcode for your sat nav: CV3 4FR. The Museum is located near Baginton Village on Rowley Road, adjacent to the northern boundary of Coventry Airport, south of the A45. We're easy to find and the Museum is well signposted from the A45. Once on the road between the A45 roundabout and Baginton village you can't miss us, or our Vulcan!. 2017 prize for best car was awarded to Les Brown who brought his Rochdale type GT which he has owned for many a long year. The car is used by Les on a very regular basis, Les regularly makes long journeys in this car and to bring it to the AGM this year covered a distance of almost 250 miles there and back. ---------- We award a trophy for the best Rochdale at the show every year so why not make an effort and come along in your car next time. |

This years event has changed venue, National Kit & Sports Car Motorshow, Three Counties Showground, Malvern, Worcestershire, June 3-42016 May. Stoneleigh Kit Car Show. Monday we had Left to Right: - Tony Wright in a Olympic P1 - Alan Farrer with Derek Bentley in "Kermit" Olympic P1 - Brian Jackson with a Fairthorpe - Tony Stanton in "Duffy" Olympic P11 Vic Lobb with a Gilbern GT - Philip Ivimey with a Gilbern Invader MkIII - and a visiting Arkley SS.

Bristol Classic Car Show

The Bristol Classic Car Show has been suspended until further notice.
---------- 2016 show was held on the 18th/19th June at The Royal Bath & West of England Showground. The ROC had two cars on display, on the left the Rochdale Olympic Phase 1 of John Plant and on the right the Rochdale GT of Peter Campbell. The GT was awarded a Highly Commended Rosette. We are intending to once again have a stand at this show, as a member any assistance you may be able to offer would be very appreciated, this is always a nice relaxed affair..

Last year was the first event held at this venue, we managed to gather a fair few Rochdales together on a very hot mid summers day. The venue was superb and the show was nice and relaxed. We hope to see a lot more cars from the local area this year. |

FSCC Historic Specials Day Sunday 13th August 2023.
---------- Historic Specials Day - Sunday 13th August 2023. Cotswold Wildlife Park, Nr Burford, Oxfordshire, UK. Bring your 1950's and 60's 'special' to our our event. The Specials and drivers get in free, passengers and others pay normal admision charge, This FSCC event attracts around sixty cars each year mainly Ford Ten and Austin Seven based specials. Specials and limited production sports cars of all makes are invited, although cars built or designed after 1964 may be asked to park outside the display area. Some of the marques that have been to previous shows include: TWM, Turner, Fairthorpe, Elva, Lotus, Ginetta, Lola, Martin, Rochdale, Siva, and Dellow. |

---------- Lancaster insurance Classic Car Show, 10th - 12th November 2023. This year we are hoping to commit to having a stand at the Lancaster insurance classic car show, with Discovery at NEC which will be held on the 10th, 11th, and 12th of November 2023. As with previous years we hope to have an interesting display of cars on display, as with all shows we need help so if you have a car which you feel would be suitable for the event please contact us as soon as possible. |
