On the one hand, I like the look of the rear seats.
On the other, I can't see me using them for seating people.
I am wondering ...
Has anyone modified the rear seats / rear seat area?
Flat storage area on top?
Storage area below flat top?
Battery / fuel tank(s) / any other ancilliaries below, with flat top above?
Hatch back or boot mod with flat top boot area front to back?
Any comments welcomed.

Hello Alan,

My Phase 2 Olympic has a flat boot floor with storage area (contains a CD multichanger) and a toolbox. Not sure how to send attachments on the Forum, but if you contact me on j-h-evans@tiscali.co.uk, I'll send a picture.

Regards,

Howard

We have done this on a couple of our restorations, as you say the seats are a little small for anything other than occasional use. If you use the car as a 2 seater you can produce some decent storage etc by boxing in the rear seats.
