A Merry Christmas to all from me as well!
Keith, surely this is no ordinary outback repair- look how the head of the bolt has been accurately drilled to accept the fencing wire! _________________ " Stay lucky " |

Agreed this is no ordinary outback repair but rather the work of a master bush mechanic.
A rough as guts side of the road repair one would simply have wound a couple of turns of fencing wire under the head of the bolt then tightened.
Best wishes for the New Year

(I think you complicate things unnecessarily, Olympic is not a Ferrari).
Well, perhaps Phase One is like this :
|
I'm now thinking . . . 2 simple rose jointed trailing arms, and two top arms, ie a 4 link of sorts . . . retain a panhard rod ( last thing to fit really)
BUT . . .mount coilovers a bit like in this picture . . .probably more like an escort rally car set up ?
oh, and no an Olympic is not a Fancy Fiat, hopefully it'll be better! |
