September 14, 2009 - 07:50 AM John Perkin - johnbperkin@yahoo.co.uk I bought a Rochdale Special with a three gear Ford engine whilst based in Manchester in 1965. On the way back to my home in Leeds the gear lever broke off and I drove it all the way over the Pennines in third gear! The gear lever was quickly repaired and my youngest brother and I drove the Rochdale for several years. I always wanted an Olympic Phase 2 but it was never to happen. IP : Taunton |
